I run the risk of this sounding very lame, as well as it not being seen, but I would just like to vent a little to… Someone. Whoever it may be that reads this.
Nellie Veitenheimer is an amazing individual who has helped me, intentionally or not, get through some really tough times recently. Through her optimism, and her music. It’s my senior year and well… I don’t exactly socialize well. I’m the stereotypical art kid who doesn’t really talk all that much to people I’m not comfortable with, which kinda black balls me.
Watching Nellies progress on the glee project, as well as the recent posts and involvement in fans lives has inspired me to be more confident in everyday life. That maybe, just maybe, if I’m more confident things will change. Also, who doesn’t love a role model who interacts with the fans daily.
Anyways, just needed to vent some feelings to something and figured this is just as good as anything. NELLIE YOU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE.
We love you Nellie, and thank you for everything. The text posts, the message respones, the tweets. All of it. You are fantastic. *virtual hug*

Wow. I didn’t think the woman could be any more amazing, and then she writes that little speech. It was like she was talking directly to me, the girl who just spent all day in her dorm room because she’s too shy to go out and meet people. And I know there are hundreds of others out there who felt the same way.
It’s so refreshing to see someone who actually cares about their fans, and not just pretend that they do.

I can’t get over how amazing Nellie is.
She understands so many of us and we never actually met her.
I really genuinely hope this girl makes it.
She is talented for sure, but she is also a great person.

She would be a great advocate for self-image and confidence.

She would be a character that glee never had.
A girl that doesn’t need to have a boy/girl to be happy. A girl who doesn’t lie or manipulate people to be Prom Queen. A girl that doesn’t push everyone aside for her dreams.
She would be the girl that makes all girls around the world feel beautiful. The one on the show that tells us that it is okay to not look like Lea Michele or Dianna Agron. That you don’t have to skinny, or hate yourself because you don’t look like them. That what is on the inside matters more than the outside…and not in a cliche way.
She would be the inspiration that all of us need to get through the day.

not because she is ”cute” or ”sexy” well yeah but that’s just a bonus I love Nellie because I can feel how she feels her personality is just perfect, P E R F E C T, she is amazing in every single way I can’t even finish telling you why I love her maybe one day I will but not today because every day I find a new reason to love her and feel happy for that.
And I know she will never know me or read all the letters I made for her or post or what ever but I know she loves me.
